Yes, everyone knows our calendar New Year is an opportune time to reflect on the past year, choices made, dreams come true (or not). It’s also the stereotypical time to set grand intentions (resolutions) for the year to come.
But what if we reflected back on our year & chose to see our lives with a different perspective than we have dared before? Revise the script, alter the narratives, add or remove characters in a more forgiving fashion. Conceptualize a completely fresh story about ourselves & our lives.
Would it change anything?
Would it change everything?
It’s like a choose-your-own-adventure novel, right? The reader has the power to make each big decision with each choice leading down a different path to a certain end.
What if we follow the other path?
It’s not too late to press rewind & start exactly where you began a year ago, making mindful choices from a place of greater alignment with your truth.
Where could that take you instead?
This year I am choosing to make bold & brave & conscious decisions.
I am going after my wild dreams while allowing life to come to me as it wills.
I am embracing more acceptance & less resistance.
More honesty & less hiding.
More courage & less worry.
More love & less wounding.
More reason & less excuse.
More balance & less contrast.
I am choosing to revise my habitual stories of self as I begin again anew, inviting in great tales of adventure, love & humble self discovery.
I hope to inspire you to do the same!
“We were revisionists; what we revised was ourselves.”
